The NCSR is delighted to welcome Martin Nolan as the new Technical Officer for the Centre.

Having completed his Master’s in Chemistry with the School of Chemical Sciences here in DCU, Martin knows first-hand some of the issues that can prevent smooth and efficient research being undertaken: lack of work space, storage of legacy samples and chemicals, or difficulty in accessing shared instrumentation and workspaces, are some of the issues that can slow down the day-to-day research carried out in the NCSR. He aims to provide as much support as he can to both the PIs and research staff in the Centre, to optimize the every day running of the laboratories and improve efficiency for everyone where possible.
