Tasneem Shetewi and the NCSR SCIN research group in collaboration with Northwestern University publish their work relating to the area of biodiagnostic wearable platforms. For this work, they profiled fatty acid emissions from skin and showed their association with skin pH. The paper demonstrates the application of this – the measurement of skin acidity via the skin volatile emission using wearable colorimetric sensors for the first time.
