Congratulations to NCSR’s Donal Monaghan who was awarded best oral presentation at the recent annual School of Biotechnology Research Day (Jan 27th 2017).  Donal won in a highly competitive field with his presentation entitled ‘Glycoprofiling of colorectal carcinoma cell lines with recombinant and commercial lectins’. Donal, who is in the final year of his PhD studies and is supervised by Dr. Brendan O’Connor and Dr. Dermot Walls, is pictured here receiving his cheque from Dr Sandra O’Neill (Head of School of Biotechnology).
