NCSR Visits Brazil – May 2013

A multi-disiplinary team from the Schools of Biotechnology and Chemical Sciences at DCU visited five Universities in Brazil over a three week period in May of this year.

Dr. Brendan O’Connor, Dr. Dermot Walls (both members of the NCSR) and Dr. John Gallagher meet with academics and students from University of Sao Paulo, UNICAMP (Campinas), Universities of Curitiba, Porto Alegre, and Florianopolis.

The trip was designed to promote collaboration and interchange between Irish and Brazilian Universities and was funded by the Science Foundation Ireland International Collaboration fund (ISCA).
