Two members of Prof. Dermot Diamond’s research group travelled to Australia in recent months as part of the FP7 MASK project.
Vincenczo Curto worked at the University of Monash with Prof. Doug MacFarlane’s research group from January to April 2-13.
While there he also carried out collaborative research with Xenofron Strakosas. He is a member of Dr. Róisín Owens research group at the Department of Bioelectronics at the Centre Microélectronique de Provence.
During the same period (January to March), Michele Zanoni carried out research at the Intelligent Polymer Research Institute (IPRI) at the University of Wollongong.
Michele was under the supervision of Prof’s Gordon Wallace and David Officer while at IPRI.
While in Australia he gave an oral and a poster presentation at the 8th Annual International Electomaterials Science Symposium.
Both presentations were entitled Dual Control Molecular Switches: a Journey into the Nanoworld of Spropyran-Functionalized Terthiophene Polymers.
